I had an idea when thinking back to little things that make a big difference in your interview process.
Follow up “Thank You” emails are important.
Here’s why.
When you send a thank you after the interview, it immediately tells the manager or interviewer that you are truly interested in the job.
It needs to be authentic and personalized, but it should not take you more than 5 minutes.
It is even more important with C-Suite and directors.
These people do not always get thank you emails from candidates.
Helps you stand out from the crowd and it’s easy.
You’re more likely to get a response. And hopefully a positive one.
