Better than guessing is knowing. In the last 30 days I had the change to analyse 40.000 German job websites and nearly one million job offers. (Many thanks to Textkernel B.V. for the data)
I wanted to know: Which strategies will help expatriates to find a job in Germany? How can companies gain an advantage in the “war for talent”?
One result from my research: English job offers are like the left lane on the German highways: They get you faster to your destination. At least if you are the employer. Expats on the other site need to hurry up.
A German language job ad is still active after 3 weeks. That is true in 80% of the cases.
More than half of English job offers in Germany are of the market within three weeks! (58% to be precise)

Have you made the same experience?
You are well educated, you have professional experience and most important: You have drive and ambition. You want to make a contribution and build a good career.
But German employers don't value your talent. You apply for job after job. You spent hours editing your CV and cover letter to fit perfectly. And then: You don't even get an answer.
There is a way forward! Chris Pyak and the rest of us at Immigrant Spirit GmbH: We want you to succeed.
