I don’t know about you, but Coronavirus has put my whole life on “hold”. I had great plans for this year; wanted to move on from doing things that are “useful”, to offering experiences that are “joyful”.
I helped more than 100 international professionals to find a job in Germany. Certainly that is “useful”. Don’t worry: I will continue to do so.
But my passion is to create experiences that are joyful. That serve no other purpose, than to make you smile. This year was so supposed to be about joy, not work. I decided to reduce the number of clients that I will work with to just 20. I wanted to have more time to think, to write and to create short stories and podcasts that lift your spirit.
That is still my plan, but I wonder when it will finally happen.
Really valuable ideas are like cheese: They ripe over time, in darkness and silence. Guess what:
With a baby and a toddler in the house I can hardly hear my own thoughts. My kids are wonderful, but they also “are”. Here. 24 hours a day. Every day. I have time now, but I long for even an hour where no one is interrupting me. So that I can create.
If you have small kids, I am sure you can empathize. 🙂
I would love to know: How did your plans chance due to coronavirus? Do you still look for a job in Germany? Did you pause your job hunt or give up? Are you looking at other countries?
Or did this crisis encourage you to change your career and your life?
I would love to hear your story and share it with my audience.
If you like to share your thoughts and get a free “on Air” coaching session with me: Tell me your story as a voice message on whatsapp.
I will pick two smaller stories and comment on them in my podcast. And one of you I will invite for a free 30 minutes coaching session with me. We will talk about your biggest challenge and find the first steps towards your goal. The coaching will be recorded and shared in my podcast – so that others can benefit from our ideas as well.
Interested?
Then tell me your name, where you are at thome and what’s keeping you awake at night. Record your voice message on whatsapp and send it to this number:
