If you are here, you are taking the right steps to your next job.
Please reach out with any questions.
Location, languages, unknown schools; all this creates uncertainty which Germans do not deal well with.
Rejecting applications right away is simply not wanting to deal with the extra effort of your application. It often has nothing to do with your work profile.
Recruiters job is to make sure they get the *most secure* candidate forwarded to the hiring manager. Because this is how they protect their own job security.
So in reality, recruiters actually don’t know about most roles and their requirements. When you finally understand the role of HR or a recruiter, your view of getting a job changes entirely. Their incentives are clearly elsewhere.
You have experienced this by now... so how do you get a job in these circumstances?
There are 2 options: You can handle all of this on your own with a small change in approach - only reaching out to decision makers directly. I have plenty of free guides and resources on the website for you to use, but it might take some time to see progress. You will likely see the same AI generic responses that I've seen for years.
If you want help: I can support you so you get a job faster. Here below is how the upcoming program and course works.
We cover everything you encounter from A to Z before getting a job offer. Germans dislike uncertainty more than anything. I figured this out back when I was cold applying into Germany for 8 months and never received an offer. I had no idea how a German manager should be approached. All I knew was recruiters saying “just apply” or the same auto reject emails that you see. But without any feedback, you have no idea what to change to be successful. In this course, we have regular weekly feedback sessions where we work on your responses from real hiring managers, not recruiters. We are going to team up on this so we can maximize your chances of getting interviews.
You need a strong message as why they should take a risk on you.
It’s going to be a lot of work, but if you’re dedicated to getting here, we will do it together.
Please note: Below the price menu there is a broader description of the EJO course.
I connect you with hiring managers myself and show you how to make the connections yourself, so that you get more interviews, in less time wasted. So that you get a chance to prove your worth.
Talking to the hiring manager will allow you to learn about the company’s biggest challenges. By offering solutions to these challenges, you immediately prove your value. Questions like language, visa, and location become less important if you can solve the hiring manager’s biggest problem. You also avoid wasting precious time. It takes too much time and effort to tailor your job application to each new job, only to get a quick rejection.
If you need to be absolutely sure that you get a job in 2025: Opportunity Card, end of severance, end of unemployment payment, residence permit, etc. Then you should book this offer. You will receive more interviews, increase your opportunities, and save valuable time only applying to the right jobs.
You're not receiving any interview requests. Or when you do, they are with the wrong people. These people either don't know about, or don't really care about the position you want (Recruiters).
The Video Course is included in the Expats Job Miracle – Intensive Coaching Program. You will receive videos weekly along with online exercises.
Week 1: Accessing your tracking guide, learning how to approach decision makers on LinkedIn, how to convince an employer that you will learn German “on the job” during probation time, go-to questions for your first interview.
Week 2: Understanding why a role is important to the EMPLOYER (not you) and how to uncover this in the interview, reviewing and refining your approach, practice calls to HR, finding hiring managers consistently.
Week 3: Updating your excel file target book properly, follow-up procedures, conducting A/B testing, how to call your future boss confidently and what to say to them, reviewing and improving your call structures.
Week 4: Building your cover letter and who to send it to (Hint: It’s not HR), cover letter best practices, taking control of any interview, discovering and diffusing objections to hiring you, how to negotiate the salary you deserve with data.
