I talk with with Amanda Hosie about English jobs at Mindspace, why a community manager is not what you think it is & how you get an English job at their company.
Amanda shares her view on the “perfect” candidate for a Community Manager role. We also talk about other jobs at Mindspace – and how you can prepare your job application in a way that is easy to evaluate for Mindspace.
This podcast was recorded with a live audience. Here are some of the questions from the Q&A:
English jobs at Mindspace
“I looked at Mindspace positions, and I noticed there are several Accounting/Finance positions that prefer knowledge of GAAP (American accountant living in Köln) and I was wondering how critical it is to know the local language (exp. Dutch or German) versus English? And will there be an option to do remote work?”
Eric
“Hi Amanda – Due to digitalization, today’s one of the HR strategies is moving towards sustainability too. One of it is working from home is increasing. How is mindspace working towards this change?”
Sushma
“How closely aligned are the skills’ sets of a community manager in your context to that of a community engagement expert in a social impact organisation?”
Jocelyn
“I would really like working on Mindspace, but im not fluent in german language, what positions can i fulfill knowing mostly english.”
AlonVel
“Does Mindspace offer any support to master German fluency. I am more or less fluent but need to master the grammar so any support the organisation can provide to access ongoing learning would be an attractive benefit.”
Sven
